Good morning to everyone. It's a blessed morning! God allowed us to see the rising of the sun and the start of a new day. We are encouraged to go forth in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Whatever your day has in store for you, it is all good. All things are working together for the good of those who love the Lord and are called according to his purpose. That means that no matter what today may bring, it's all for the good, and for your benefit.
God knows the plans he has for us, which are to prosper us. That being a biblical truth, we can trust that the plans he has for us Today are to prosper us. Not only in our finances (which is where most of us think prosperity lies), but in our natural life's journey and in our spiritual journey. He would have us to prosper (naturally) as our soul prospers. I like to call that a "double blessing."
So in this glorious day, go forth and prosper.
Blessings,
Rev. Michele.

Whatever you can do, DO! Maybe it's a $10 donation to the Red Cross, or funds to your local charity involved in the relief and recovery process. Maybe it's donating clothing and supplies to a local distribution center. Perhaps it's bringing a bag of food and water to a neighbor, or a total stranger. Whatever comes to your mind to do...Do It! Every little bit helps.
We're in this for the long haul, so think long-term. People will still need your help next week, and the weeks to come. Think about what you can do next week if you're not able to do anything this week. Think about making a difference in "one" person/family's life if thinking about the masses is just too much and too painful. Minister to the "One." Bring your focus in to the "One." As the lyracists reminds us, "If I can help 'somebody'...then my living shall not be in vain."
A kind word, a compassionate hug, and a sincere smile are all "little things" we all can do. Be generous with hugs, love and smiles. And continue to pray. Prayer works. God is still listening. He hears, and He will answer.
Stay encouraged, share a blessing (material and verbal) and keep the faith.
Blessings,
Rev. Michele

Greetings friends and members,
It's been a long year filled with wonderful blessings and many challenges.
As we enter this season of thanksgiving, let us prepare our hearts to give. Another word for "give" is "share." Let us share the goodness of the Lord, share our abundant blessings, share our wealth, share our talents and skills, share our love.
Be quick to give with a heart of thanksgiving. As we release, God will replenish and restore.
With a heart of thanksgiving, we can change the way we view events that occur in our daily lives;and in doung so, change the lives of others. Are we not change agents for Christ? Yes...so let's graciously change the world by effectively changing the lives of those whose live we touch and are touched by.
Give thanks to our heavely father who loves us.
Give thanks for good friends, fmaily and loved ones.
Give thanks for every challenge we've come through by God's grace.
Give thanks for life and life more abundantly.
Give thanks for peace.
Give thanks for Comfot and Joy.
God bless you,
Rev. Michele, Founder

A recent tragic event occured in Barbados wherein two men robbed and fire-bombed the Campus Trenz store on Tudor Street in Georgetown, September 3rd, which resulted in the death of six young ladies that were inside. On Friday, a special prayer went out across the Nation. Cars pulled to the side, people stopped where they were, people came together in unity for "three minutes of silence" in memory of those killed. Never had there been such a crime in Barbados. Reported by The Nation News today, two men of interest are now in custody being questioned about this crime and several others. To read about this trageday, go online to www.barbadosadvocate.com, or www.NationNews.com.
We want to acknowledge our sisters and brothers in Barbados and extend our prayers for their loss. Please take time today as you read this blog to extend a prayer for the families of: Kellisha Olliviere, Shanna Griffith, Pearl Cornelius, Kelly-Ann Welch, Tiffany Harding, Nikkita Belgrave. Their age ranged between 18 and 24.
While you are praying for Barbados, please continue to pray for our United States of America. Septermber 11, 2010 marked the ninth anniversary of the terrorist attack wherein nearly 3,000 persons perished when two planes were flown into the World Trade Center Towers One and Two. The controversay over building an Islamic Mosque and Muti-cultural center near Ground Zero were the Twin Towers once stood. To add to the issue, a Floridian pastor threatened to bur stacks of the Koran on 9/11 in protest. God heard the prayers many and intervened. The pastor said, "Not now...not ever" after coming to New York and meeting with the Muslim leader responsbile for the mosque. The concept that one man's actions could cause military threat to our troops remained in Iraq, and the nation at large, is/was frightening. But God intervened.
We are experiencing wild/brush fires in Staten Island, gasline explosions in California, destruction of landmark businesses by fire, and so many more incidents of travesty. So we're praying! God have mercy! We know the Lord is soon to return because the signs are so present. In the meantime, we've got to keep praying.
I urge you, encourage you and emplore you to pray like never before. Souls need to be saved, souls need to be restored, hearts need to be healed, relationships need to be restored. God alone can do this for His people...His beloved...His creation. It is through His son, Jesus Christ, that we have healing, salvation, strength and help. Our help comes from the Lord. When we call upon His name, He will answer. So let us CALL UPON HIM NAME! JESUS, JESUS, JESUS.
God bless you, and continue to lift up this ministry before the Lord. Thank you.

I received this prayer on August 28, 2010. You are welcomed to post a comment and prayer. God bless.
Father God please sends your Holy Spirit and the power of the anointing into the Citadel House of Hope Outreach Ministry. Fill each member with your Holy Ghost. Please word my month as I preach the Holy gospel of Jesus of Christ. This ministry is going through a major crisis; we are having a problem finding a place to worship. We are also asking God to give us a building with office space for community service .We would need space for feeding the homeless and to give away clothes. Space to teach teens about personal hygiene and to help teenage mothers and young adults find employment; and teach them the word of God. There are not that many members, but this is a burn desire in our heart: Please send those who will pray and want to work in this area of ministry in Jesus name. Finance is need badly; please remember us in your prayers as we give our Tithes and offing. Lord save Ronald my son, and fill him with your Holy Spirit to work with me in the ministry. Thank you, Pastor. Jones
Praise God My Sister,
I believe and trust our heavenly Father to open the doors of opportunity for the Citadel to enable the ministry to enlarge its territory by acquiring a new building suitable for the outreach ministry needs. Lord, please provide the resources through the generosity of your people, grants, anonymous contributors, businessmen and women, family and friends. I pray that you will increase the ministry’s’ ability to serve the homeless by increasing the gift of helps in the members and the donations that will come. Father I also ask that you would bless my sister Sophia and the gift of ministry you have given her, the desire to serve the homeless and the willingness to follow your instructions for ministry. I pray your blessings upon her, her membership and the ministry. In the blessed name of Jesus, I thank you for what you have already done and what you are yet to do for this ministry. All praise, glory and honor belong to you. Thank you Lord God, Amen.

Good morning everyone,
I want to share a Facebook post from my deat friend and sister in Christ, Marilyn Hunte. Marilyn is also a member of Comfort and Joy Online Prayer Ministries. Thanks, Marilyn, for the post and permission to re-post it on the C & J website. Blessings
Yesterday there was an earthquake in Ecuador - 6.9 on the Richter scale. A long, strong quake but minimal damage as it occured deep in the earth. Ecuador is blessed & so are we. Praise God for the earthquakes (emotional & spiritual) that we've survived; the tsunamis of oppression & depression; dangers seen & unseen.... God is good & His mercy endureth forever. Have a blessed day & weekend, Fam!
Host's Note: If you are experiencing emotional and spiritual earthquakes, and tsunamis of oppression and depression...dangers seen and unseen...call on Jesus. He's right there to cover you as you go through...and to deliver you. No matter what you're going through, He is able to keep you. His goodness and mercy is eternal.

Good morning and God bless you all. It's the middle of August and I'm wondering how your summer's coming along. The heat has been overwhelming and draining energy...even spiritual energy. I encourage you today that if you're feeling the least bit drained spiritually, you are not alone. We all have these moments. But, we can re-energize our spirit with a good does of prayer, praise, thanksgiving and fellowship.
And let's not forget a good dose of God's Word. Ephesians and Colossians are good new testament books to encourage you and keep you going.
Spend time each day for the next three days giving God thanks for any and everything you can think of. By day four, you'll feel the difference in your spirit. Let that be the start of your refreshment and personal revival over the next few weeks.
Also, remember to stay hydrated. Water is the best natural refresher there is. Now, for the spirit, take a drink of the living water - the Holy Spirit. Prayer will invite the Holy Spirit into your soul for spiritual refreshment. How wonderful you will feel when the Holy Spirit invigorates you. You'll feel like going on...like you can make it through another hot day. And I don't mean just the weather. But HOT days when things are absolutely crazy, frustrating, agrivating and intense. Breathe slowly and ask the Holy Spirit to refresh your thoughts, your mind and your feelings. I hear a testimony in the making!
Enjoy the rest of your summer and be refreshed with God's Word, prayer, praise and fellowship!
Blessings...Rev Michele

Welcome to July.
Tough we're several days into the month, I wanted to welcome you to the month of Freedom. Yes, July celebrates our nation's independence and declaration of freedom. In this vein, I encourage you to consider your own declaration of freedom.
To begin with, we are free in Christ who's given us liberty. In him we stand fast in our liberty from sin and eternal damnation, free from the traditions of worship and expression of our religious beliefs, free from the daily temptations that can so easily bind us and cause us to sin. Yes, my brothers and sisters, we are free.
While we consider our own freedom, let us also consider those in the faith who are yet bound by political conditions that still control their ability to openly worship God in truth. Let us pray for those who have been forced to practice their belief in Jesus Christ behind the mask of indifference. Let us pray for those who have endured persecution for Christ sake in order to get the Good News spread abroad in regions where Christianity is demonized.
And in our liberty, let us pray for the many conditions that have plagued our world. I speak specifically of the earthquakes, tornados, hurricanes, and other natural disasters that have consumed and destroyed nations, homes, people of all races and nationales--leaving many homeless and hopeless. I speak of the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexic that sontinues to spew out millions of gallons of oil every day leaving many families destitute and in need of relief because their livelihoods have been cut off. Yes, I speak of the many seaman and fishermen's families, and businesses that have gone under because of this man-made disaster. What is considered the largest environmental disaster in the history of our nation...that continues to grow...has destroyed thousands, if not millions of wildlife, destroying an already damaged eco-system. Not to mention the black tar invading the seacoast and beaches.
Pray this morning for the freedom of choice in how to deal with these disasters and conditions that we cannot escape. Pray that individuals and families will find hope in a seemingly hopeless situation, and choose to freely call upon the name of the Lord for help. Pray that freedom will ring in the hearts and minds of those suffering right now because of the conditions in the world whether natural or man-made--for truly, no matter what the condition, we can choose to be free in mind, heart and spirit. We are free to choose to live and not die within although external circumstances may dictate destruction.
Yes, in this month of liberty, let us pray that we as a people will come to know the liberty of Christ in every situaiton we face...even in tring times.
We serve a God who loves us and cares. So I know that He will step in right on time to bring solution and closure to what the world now faces as tragedies. I know that as we freely worship him and call upon his name to intervene, he will gladly show favor and come to our aide. I know that it is our free choice to invoke the presence of the master in our circumstances and in our national and global concerns. So let us freely invite him in. This is our ultimate freedom...to call upon his name with hope, faith and expectation that he can and will step in right on time.
Let freedom ring, let freedom ring...in all that we do, think and believe...let freedom ring.
God bless.

Lord, when you come into your kingdom, remember me.
It's Memorial Day here in the US. Many are spending the day at a BBQ, visiting family, sharing good times and remembering loved one gone on. Particularly those brave men and women who have fought and died for our rights to freedom.
So today, I ask that while you are enjoying the delicious grilled feasts, the company of friends and family, the glorious splender of the warm sun beating down on your skin, take time to say a prayer for the families of fallen soldiers. And while you're at it, please take time to pray for the men and women on the battle field for The Lord.
God's army is marching forward into the kingdom of Satan in order to conquer the mountains of unforgiveness, religion, entetainment, government, education, family, business, poverty, immorality, sickness, spiritual weakness and so much more.
In your prayers today, please keep in mind the thief that hung on the cross next to our Savior. He recognized that in his brokenness, there was a man who preached about the Kingdom of God. This man, was without sin and didn't deserve to die...as the thief did. But this thier believed that at the end of his life, there might possibly be life in the Kingdom of God. the Kingdom of which Christ preached. So he uttered these simple words, Lord when you come into your kingdom, remembe me.
Today I share these same words as a memorial. Wherever you are and whatever you're doing, you can ask for forgiveness. You can acknowledge Christ as the king of Kings and Lord of Lords. You can ask the Savior to remember you and receive the same response as the thief on the cross...Today, thou shalt be with me in paradise.
Today, you can share a prayer of intercession for the worriers on the fields of Iraq, Afganistan, Somalia, and so many other countries that US soldiers are stationed. You can share a prayer of intercession for the worriers of God's army who are on the fields of many lands fighting spiritual battles as well as physical battles for the right to believe in Christ. Today, you can ask God to REMEMBER his promises to every believer. Today, you can ask God to REMEMBER ME as you travel through life's journey into the Kingdom of God.
Grace and peace be multiplied.
